Robert J. Webb brings over four decades of medical experience to Modern Wellness Clinic. From his service in the United States Army to graduating at the top of his class twice — once in medical school and once in his PA program — Mr. Webb has built his career on one principle: treat the whole person, not just the chart.
Military Service Before entering civilian medicine, Mr. Webb served in the United States Army Medical Service Corps from 1976 to 1979. His time in active duty grounded his approach to patient care in discipline, precision, and a commitment to the people in front of him.
Medical Education After completing active duty, Mr. Webb returned to Costa Rica to continue his medical education. He earned his Medical Degree in 1984 from the University of Autonoma Central America (UACA) in San Jose, graduating top of his class with honors. His rotating medical internship spanned pediatrics, internal medicine, surgery, and gynecology — giving him a breadth of clinical experience that shapes his whole-person approach to this day.
Physician Assistant Training Mr. Webb went on to complete the MEDEX Physician Assistant Program at Charles Drew University in Los Angeles, California, graduating first in his class in 1986. Charles Drew University is known for its focus on training providers for underserved communities — a mission that aligns closely with how Mr. Webb has always practiced.
Mr. Webb focuses on the entire person.
